"Immortal Melody" Story
Chinese legend tells of the beautiful Tsai Luan, daughter of a god and a mortal woman. She played the flute so beautifully that the gods decided to give her the gift of immortality, so that they may delight in her sweet music for eternity. They sent the tiger, Protector of the Gods, to escort Tsai Luan to the Yellow Mountains, home of the gods, where she would receive the precious gift of immortality.
