Guardians of East and West Story

    The Dragon and The Tiger represent balance of power, the yin and yang in nature.  This creates harmony in the home.  The Tiger is the Guardian of the West, the Dragon does the same in the East.  The Tiger is the female (yin) energy; he represents joyousness, sensibility, and feeling.  The Dragon symbolizes the male (yang) energy; he is associated with excitation and movement. “When the Tiger roars the valley wind comes.  When the Dragon arises great clouds appear.”
