"Blossoms in the Snow" Story

    Mei Fei was the Tang emperor's favorite concubine.  Because of her love for plum blossoms, the emperor had thousands of plum trees planted all over the palace grounds, just to please her.  He nicknamed her "Mei Fei", which means "Plum Consort".
